SIMARD architecture is a growing firm that currently has a dozen people. Our team lives for architecture. However, we are before all social beings who prioritize human relations before everything else. Integrity and authenticity are our intrinsic values. We are looking to fill the position of workshop manager to complete the team. The person will mostly work as a workshop manager, but occasionally, will assume the management of some projects. He or she will assist the different members of the team at critical phases and at the revision of blueprints. A considerable experience in an architect firm is essential.

More specifically, the tasks of the architect workshop manager are:

        - Coordinate the realisation of execution blueprints and constructionte surveillance

        - Design technical details

        - Prepare estimated budget

        - Lead production meetings and write minutes

        - Assure the coordination of disciplines

        - Develop and maintain a trust relationship with every member of SIMARD archietcture's team and clients

 

Prerequisites are:

        - University degree in architecture

        - 10 years of valuable experience

        - Member of the Quebec order of architects

        - Great knowledge of the technical aspect of construction

        - Master of the codes and regulations in force in Quebec

        - Software knowledge: AutoCAD, Word, Excel and Sketchup

        - Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
